Recent investigations into Tesla charging station vandalism have revealed a striking pattern among the alleged perpetrators. These attacks, which have targeted Tesla properties across multiple states, appear motivated by opposition to Elon Musk and the Trump administration. What types of weapons or devices were allegedly used in these attacks?
Pattern of Identity Among Tesla Vandalism Suspects
Federal investigators have identified a notable trend among individuals arrested for vandalizing Tesla charging stations and facilities across the United States. Three out of four suspects charged with these crimes reportedly identify as transgender or non-binary, using she/they pronouns in their identification.
Justin Thomas Nelson, who goes by Lucy Grace Nelson, faces charges of malicious destruction of property following incidents in Colorado. Authorities discovered Nelson in possession of incendiary devices and materials directly linked to the vandalism of Tesla charging stations.

Anti-Musk and Anti-Trump Motivations
Law enforcement officials have indicated these attacks appear politically motivated, specifically targeting Tesla due to its association with Elon Musk. The vandals reportedly expressed opposition to both Musk and the Trump administration through their actions and messages left at crime scenes.
Erin L. White, another suspect, faces felony criminal damage and trespass charges in Illinois after allegedly vandalizing Tesla property. White reportedly left explicit messages against Trump and Musk at the vandalism sites, making the political motivation clear.
The fact that transgender activists are so overrepresented in violent terror attacks (school shootings, destabilizing street riots, arson against Teslas) gives you a window into why the CIA (sorry, "USAID") sponsors and supports so many transgender network nodes around the world https://t.co/3gAZQz6cnv

Federal Response to Escalating Attacks
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has taken a firm stance on these incidents, labeling them as “domestic terrorism” rather than mere vandalism. “The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism,” Bondi stated in recent remarks about the cases.
The Department of Justice, working alongside the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF), has prioritized these investigations due to the escalating nature of the attacks. Adam Matthew Lansky, using the alias Allison Tesla, represents the most severe case, allegedly possessing Molotov cocktails and discharging firearms at Tesla property in Oregon.
An ATF spokesperson confirmed their involvement, stating, “In many attacks against Tesla dealerships that have involved arson or a firearm, ATF has been working with local and federal law enforcement partners to identify and bring to justice those who have recklessly destroyed property and endangered innocent lives.” The federal response underscores the serious nature of these crimes beyond typical vandalism.
While the investigations continue, the DOJ has emphasized that criminal complaints are merely accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
